An excellent hunting property located at the intersection of Spring Creek and the Yellow Medicine River. This property has deeded acres on the east and west side of the creek with access from both sides. The parcel is almost entirely wooded, with open grassland areas on the far east and west ends. There is also an open area in the northeast part of the property. The woods mixed with open spaces make great wildlife habitat, especially for deer, turkeys, and pheasants. As previously mentioned, there is an access trail coming in from the north that brings you to the southeast corner. From the southeast corner, a levee acts as a trail system to travel through the property. A second access trial from the west comes into the northwest corner. The northwest corner of the property is an open grassland area. Having access from multiple directions will make hunting different hunting conditions more strategic. These access locations are also helpful for conducting management projects throughout.
